The Chief Justice, Her Ladyship, Mrs. Georgina Theodora Wood, has encouraged the Pentecost University College (PUC) to integrate biblical principles into teaching and learning.
Her Ladyship gave this admonishment when a section of the PUC leadership led by the Rector, Rev. Dr. Peter Ohene Kyei, paid a courtesy call at her office on Tuesday, December 20, 2011.
Interacting with the Chief Justice, Rev. Dr. Ohene Kyei, informed her that the Pentecost University College was getting ready to commence diploma and degree programmes in Law. It was therefore deemed expedient to formally inform Her Ladyship about Management’s plan.
Drawing an analogy from Hebrews 9:27 – and it is reserved to men once to die, and after that judgment – Her Ladyship, Mrs. Theodora Wood, stressed that death is like the last full stop at the end of a judgment. In law, following the presentation and assessment of the various nuances of evidence, judgement is passed. The full stop at the end of the judgement renders it as though cast in stone; nothing or nobody can change the judgement. Similarly, once a person’s mouth is shut at death, nothing can change the evidence for or against him/her. What remains is God’s judgment.

The Chief Justice assured that the Judiciary would continue to play its role of providing the needed regulatory frameworks to guide the setting up and running of Law programmes in Ghana.
The Rector, on behalf of Management, presented some PUC souvenirs to the Chief Justice.
Other Management members present were: Mr. Gibson Annor-Antwi (Registrar), Rev. Professor E. H. Ofori-Amankwaah (HOD, HR Department & Law Programmes Committee Chairman) and Mr. David Martey (Public Affairs Manager).
